On the Road Again!

With our patched up 4Runner, we hit the road to Northville, NY and NuCanoe dealer Sacandaga Dog Supply.  NuCanoes & dog supplies?  Bob's business has evolved from custom collars & feed for hunting dogs to the boats sportsmen like to use for angling and hunting.  We had a nice visit with the SDS crew...and it was definitely Kobe's favorite stop as he got a few special dog treats for the road.

The drive up to and back from Northville was certainly enjoyable with the colorful fall foliage and Great Sacandaga Lake...which we learned was usually about empty this time of year. 

About an hour later we emerged in Scotia, NY at Goldstock's Sporting Goods.  Goldstock's is the oldest ski shop in the country...it's door first opened at the turn of the century.  Now covering snow sports, outdoor apparel, fly fishing, and canoes/kayaks, Goldstock's is known for their friendly service and expertise.  We sure hope to add Goldstock's to the NuCanoe team in 2012!
